Quenas and Zampoñas
Hi friends!! Today I wanna tell you about some music instruments such as Quena and Zampoña, those instruments are wind instruments because you need to flow air inside of them if you want it to produce sound, those intruments were played for the ancient people in Peru when they wanted to play songs. It is not easy for me give you a description about them because I can not find the words that I need inside my brain, but I have given you some links where you can see by yourself what I want to show you, the first link is a song played with acustic and wind instruments, and the second link is a song played by Simon and Garfunkel (musicians from New Jersey) both of them playing the same song called The Condor Pasa. Enjoy it !!

I like the music especially classic rock. The last night I was listened one song of The Eagles. Did you listen about this music group? They have several songs very famous, for instance one of them is Hotel California. When I was young I heard this song and I liked very much, but I did not understand the letter (In those years I was not worry by understand English). But the melody and the sounds of the instruments in that song it liked very much and still it like me. About the letter of this song I guessed that they were singing about a place (the hotel) where a couple can go and to have a good time (you know....). But now that I can understand the English a little bit, I could understand that they were singing about a haunted place, a pleasent place where you can check in any time but never you can check out. Now it seems that I am listen a new song and it like me even more. Thank you teacher!!

The Nazca Lines
Hi everybody. Today I want to show you something amazing. Nobody knows who did it, or why. My son Daniel was impressed when he saw it for the first time in his life. These pictures show strange images that were made on the ground, you can see drawings of some kinds of animals like a monkey, humminbird, fish, etc. One of these drawings can measure about 200 meters across and were made by using a strange technique based in carving the ground until you reach white rock located under the soil. These Pictures were found in the Nazca Desert, Peru. And are called THE NAZCA LINES. Some scientists think that the lines were some kind of an Astronomic Calendar. What do you think about the lines? Do you think that were made by men or somebody else?
