Work for money

Hi friends!! The las night I was working as a Valet in a Italian Restaurant, what a day!! It was raining a lot. My partner and me were very wet, we couldn´t see very well when we were driven because our glasses were clouded by the drops of the rain. We needed to do our work very carefully, finally we did do our work very well. In other words we didn´t do any scratches, hits etc. to the cars......mmm. Of course the tips were good too.

Video game "Starcraft"

Hi buddies!! This afternoon our friend Chung talked to us about a video games well know like Diablo, Starcraft, etc. My son also plays these games since he was 5 years old. I don't know very well the game Diablo, but the game Starcraft I think is good because you need to use your brain a lot. If you want to defeat your rival is necesary to apply strategical plans. You need to think a lot when you are building your base, and it is important to defend your base from many attacks because if somebody destroys it you lose. See it by yourself.

Rock Band What a feeling!!

Hi my friends, Did you hear anything about a game called Rockband? My kids enjoy it a lot when they are playing it. It is basically like a band of rock where you can use a guitar, bass, drum and a microphone for the singer. In my house when we play, my daughter is the singer, my son is the drummer or guitarrist and I am the bassist. We enjoy to play together because we feel that we are in stage, we can play all the afternoon if we can, sometimes we fight because we don't know what song play first. Good Books

I like to read some literature where you can find some mystery, intrigue and situations unimaginables. Actually mi son was who encouraged me to read this kind of literature. The first time that he went to the school in this country he was 10 years old, and as a part of his classes of ESL was to read some books writen by R. L. Stine. At first I thought that this kind of books was not good for a kid because I saw in the front page of the book strange figures, knives, skull, ghosts, etc. But my son told me that books like these it was really entertainment and inoffensive. In that time I started to read these books and I discovered that that my son said was true. Before and now I enjoy this kind of literature and learn English.

The Snowman

Hi friends!! With the snow that felt down on friday I did my own Snowman. Actually that was posible with the help of my kids, really it was a big Snowman. We were very happy when we finished our work, and after that we took some pictures. That morning I enjoyed to play with my kids on the snow doing snowballs and throwing to our bodies each other. It didn´t matter the cold weather it´s was more important the joy of the moment.....

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a novel was written in 1886 By a Scottish man called Robert Louis Stevenson. I love this kind of literature because it has a lot of intrigues and some of the characters are very mysterious. Yet, I don not what is the end of this novel but I am trying to imagine what will happen. When I finish to read I will tell you.

Quenas and Zampoñas

Hi friends!! Today I wanna tell you about some music instruments such as Quena and Zampoña, those instruments are wind instruments because you need to flow air inside of them if you want it to produce sound, those intruments were played for the ancient people in Peru when they wanted to play songs. It is not easy for me give you a description about them because I can not find the words that I need inside my brain, but I have given you some links where you can see by yourself what I want to show you, the first link is a song played with acustic and wind instruments, and the second link is a song played by Simon and Garfunkel (musicians from New Jersey) both of them playing the same song called The Condor Pasa.
